28/02/2008 · I am looking at fitting a SE 300 sport hydrofoil to my 2008 sx18 alpha 1 leg. Has anybody used one or have any feedback. At the moment I am running a 23 pitch 3 blade prop. I have great pick up and top speed 52 mph however with learner skiers I cant go slow enough and have the boat on the plane and keep the kids happy. Is there any warranty

06/09/2009 · I ordered one from Cabela’s a couple weeks ago. Was going to go the no drill route. The catalog was very vague about which motors it would fit so when I asked the order taker about it she said her computer brought up an alert pertaining to which motors it would NOT work on.

The SE Sport 400 hydrofoil the only true drill free hydrofoil. Using the SE Sport patented Disk-Grips, the SE Sport 400 is able to mount without drilling or modifying the cavitation plate. All that is needed for complete install is a 7/16″ wrench or socket set, and a phillips head screwdriver. All SE SPORT hydrofoils are made in the USA.

This comes with four rubber washers that go between the cativation plate and the hydrofoil, one set thick and the other thinner. Do the thicker washers go on the front edge, or the rear of the hydrofoil? The directions faded out and cannot make it out. Thanks, Ruben

My hydrofoil fit so tightly I would have had to use a rubber mallet to back it off, and after a few trips it stayed firmly affixed, but if you feel like the StarFire isn’t on snugly and you want a little extra security, you have the option to drill two holes and screw it into place.
